And here i was, thinking that when adding power to any AW11, you have to stick with 4bangers from FWD cars. How wrong i was. How utterly wrong i was....

Check the awful-quality vid:

And now check the ad on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ... The punchline: it's an Audi V8, normally powering a 2-ton sedan, now residing, and wreaking havoc without a doubt, in the middle of a 1-ton MR2. Oh sweet Mary and baby Jeeeebus.

I love this. And hat-tip to Mr. Monkey Harris for finding it, I just hope he picks up the phone, and makes a good video too, now that we all know this exists.

I've been following this build since a couple of years ago. I hadn't seen it painted. I think Paul Woods sold it to these guys.

Here's an oldish video of it hooning about

I want to put knobby tires on that and drive it sideways on all the dirt everywhere.

My initial thought was, "this needs a full cage in there". I think that is a good indication of improvement. I was concerned they put too much in there. May still be the case.

Although yesterday's sighting of a TT still throws me into existential why-aren't-you-more-successful-so-you-could-have-one angst. Beautifully useless and indulgent.

I love these cars.

Someone around here has an AW11 with OEM White TOM's wheels (or atleast looks to be so) and it's just sitting in their yard...
